PRP - or Platelet Rich Plasma - is a regenerative treatment derived from your own blood and designed to stimulate repair and renewal within the skin. Often referred to as the Vampire Facial, it harnesses concentrated growth factors to support collagen production and tissue regeneration in a natural and biologically compatible way.
The treatment begins with a routine blood draw. The sample is processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma known as the golden serum. This concentrated solution is then delivered into targeted areas using Dermapen microneedling or mesotherapy techniques according to clinical assessment.
As collagen and elastin production increases, skin appears firmer and more resilient. Fine lines soften and overall tone becomes more refined whilst texture appears smoother and more even. Visible changes develop progressively and optimal rejuvenation is typically evident by six weeks.
PRP may also be used to stimulate hair follicles and support thicker hair growth in appropriate cases. A course of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is commonly recommended to achieve cumulative regenerative benefit.
